VINCE CARNEY COMMUNITY THEATRE
VCCT performs in the newly renovated Lincoln Arts Center located at 108 S. Main Street in Rochelle, Illinois. The building was originally built in 1909 and was known as Lincoln Elementary School. Two additions were built, one in the 1950s and another in the 1980s. In the early 2000s, the building was abandoned as students and faculty were moved into a new building on the north side of town, also called Lincoln Elementary School. The building was subsequently acquired by Kennay Farms as part of their purchase of the old Hub Theater in downtown Rochelle. In 2018, Kennay Farms donated the building to VCCT. Over the past couple of years, volunteers have worked diligently to renovate the building into its new theater home.
