 The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee July 27, 28 & August 3 & 4 at 8 p.m. and July 29 at 2 p.m. Six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. Relay For Life
2012
I wanted to send out a quick note with some new information on this year's Relay for Life. At this time, the ACS is planning on a "mini-Relay" to be held Saturday, June 9th from noon until midnight. Please check your calendars and let me know if you are available and would like to be on the 2012 VCCT Relay team. If we could get 12 people walking an hour raising at least $125 each (or more!!), that would be fantastic! I have the team registered on the website so that team members can log in, keep track of donations, send out emails from the site with ACS templates, etc - the website rocks and has plenty of helpful tips for getting donations - if you have a good presence on this site, it almost does the fundraising for you!
