We head into 2021 with hopes that we will see the end of COVID-19 restrictions sometime this year. In the meantime, VCCT is entering its second year without being able to do what it does best--entertain audiences with live shows. This has left us without our major source of revenue.

The pandemic hit just as we were in the middle of renovating the old Lincoln elementary school to be its new theatre home, which is now called the Lincoln Arts Center. After almost 40 years, VCCT is excited that will finally have a place to call home! Work on the new building continues so we can be ready for a grand opening as soon as we are able to do so. With our new building, though, comes a new mortgage. We are so grateful to faithful patrons who contributed monthly in 2020 to help us cover our mortgage costs. Most of our 2020 supporters have generously agreed to continue their support in 2021.

We could really use your help this year. Our current donors cover about half of our monthly mortgage. Without the ability to do live shows and generate revenue, we would truly appreciate it if we could add additional donors this year so that we can cover our entire mortgage payment until we are able to reopen and once again bring quality live entertainment to the Rochelle area. We are looking for an additional 50 supporters who would be willing to commit just $10 per month to VCCT in 2021. This will allow us to make the loan payments until we get up and running!
