Nearly 700 theater goers filled VCCT's theater to capacity during 5 shows over 2 weekends. Every performance was literally "sold out"! The Wizard of Oz appealed to audiences young and old as performers of all ages presented the musical as it was originally written. Those who attended thinking they would see a stage-version of the popular 1939 movie musical were surprised to see Jitterbugs (who dance their victims to exhaustion), a skeleton as the Wicked Witch's assistant, and witches flying on vacuums instead of brooms.
